I like upcloud.com. It's a vps service. I have one commercial site
hosted there on a small vps.
Here's their summarized version of how they handle IP claims:
"We will defend you against any claim that our services infringe on
someone else’s intellectual property rights, as long as you have
followed these rules. If you receive such a claim, please notify us as
soon as possible so that we can assist you with it."

They're mostly based in Europe where IP issues are handled a bit more
sane AFAICT.
I've not had to deal with them on such an issue so can't comment on how
it works in practice. But their approach seems reasonable.
