Digikam does a nice job in this household.   And I just had a need to build a video DVD for a friend out of 5 large drone videos...    Took me a minute to google for a program (Bombono) and probably 10 minutes spent learning it.   Made a nice DVD including a menu to navigate.

I don't think you can beat that in  the Windows world.
