Linux Scan / OCR packages

Many years ago when I was working with Archive Retrieval, Inc on
a document scanning and indexing system we used software from
Vividata.  It wasn't cheap, but it worked well.

I use VueScan for most of my scanning here, but don't have much
experience with its OCR capabilities.  Their support is excellent.
