That's what we see here on YouTube videos of newscasts in Oz, 
specifically these regions Keith mentions.

Many of the houses shown in the videos were built on stilts.  Not a good 
sign.

Precisely what they called it on the videos.  Scary stuff.  Very fast 
moving water.

Stay safe and dry;  the governor of Queensland was basically saying 
don't hesitate to split if you think water is coming.
