We may have some problems in late spring and summer. The snow pack in
many areas of the Colorado Rockies is already at 100% of the total for
a normal year. March is traditionally the snowiest month, so there's
going to be a lot of water coming down later on. All we will need is a
major summer rainstorm when the drainages are at peak flow. That's
what happened in Big Thompson Canyon in 1976.
