Anyone has any idea on how to upgrade the firmware of a CD drive? Mine
is, according to lshw,

                description: DVD-RAM writer
                product: CDDVDW SH-S223C
                vendor: TSSTcorp

Googling for the the "product" data, it appears this is from Samsung
http://downloadnew.org/software/samsung-cddvdw-sh-s223c/

But it seems that it requires Windows to install, which I don't
have... Anyone knows whether it is possible to upgrade from linux? Or,
failing that, from a FreeDOS CD? Any experience at all, even with
other brands?
