KVM/Qemu can do this easily.  I've got 6 servers at $DAYJOB doing this
with about 50 guest OS's.  I gave up on VMWare long ago.  I didn't see
a point in paying them for software that already ships with most
'modern' Linux distributions for free.  Everything that I've read
about Xen is that its going to end up dying a very slow death, as its
been outside the main kernel tree for years, and never seems quite
ready to get back in.  It keeps losing market share.
