VMPlayer

Anyone else experimented with VMPlayer software? I run Ubuntu 9.10 and 
Debian Squeeze on my desktop, and obtained a copy of Windows 7, so 
wanted to try a virtual install. First install was on Ubuntu, where I 
created my virtual machine on a mounted partition. Then installed 
VMPlayer on Debian. I am able to play this virtual machine from both 
distros, after insuring that the partition is mounted.

So far it seems to run well, a bit better on Debian than Ubuntu, perhaps 
because it is 64bit, while my Ubuntu is 32bit, or maybe just because 
Debian is lighter weight. Disk access is a bit labored.

Seems to be free.
