I'm also a long-time lurker.  I still have my CND 1.0 CD-ROM.  This was my
entry-point to Linux when the company that sold me Esix (an x86 Unix) went
tits up.  I miss those days.

Then I went back to school, got a PhD, and I'm teaching systems programming
at a state university.  I never thought I'd see the day.
