It must be nice. I keep hoping for something like that to come along ;-)

<possible new thread here>

I'll have to dig into a project I've been meaning to try. Our
original "mail server" was a Silicon Graphics IRIS Indigo workstation
serving local access. We gradually upgraded to better stuff taking along
as much as we could.

I later 'rescued' the SGI from the dumpster, as I developed an attachment
to the IndigoMagick Desktop, and couldn't let the thing die an ignominious
death in a landfill.

I still have it, but it was likely a casualty of basement flooding last
year, so I don't know if I can resurrect it or not. It's possible I might
still have some of the older Caldera list stuff there.

An interesting question: has anyone tried to resurrect a flood-damaged
machine? I hate to have to finally bury this thing.

Things are more like they used to be than they are now.
