I'm using reiserfs (and have done so for years with no problems at all).

What's the current state with reiserfs -there seems to be little
around on the lists about it ?

What are the advantages of ext4?

(sorry for my current lack of knowledge, but,  "what with being happy
with reiserfs and all"..)
