I guess it is because of "Desktop Effects". On my other system with
FC10, this app worked perfectly, thru X forwarding - same way as on the
Ubuntu desktop, until I turned on Desktop Effects. The same problem is
as on my Ubuntu. It has been ok again since I turned those effects off.
My Ubuntu desktop is not available now for test but I positively think
that feature is the culprit.
