a Ubuntu question

 From my Ubuntu desktop, I use ssh -Y to connect to the server and run X 
apps. The standard apps like Xclock, Xterm are working ok. I could see 
and wok with them on my desktop.

For a particular java app, it does appear on my desktop with just a 
blank window (with minimize,maximize and close buttons), no text, no 
menus, no pictures ... That same java app shows up just fine on my XP ( 
using Xming )and my other Redhat workstation.

I guess some X packages are missing from my Ubuntu desktop. Any idea ?
