Just a side note. My experience with development (moderately bleeding
edge) releases like Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian Sid is just what you
described. The usual answer is - wait a few (hours/days) and apply the
next update.

With the few really obnoxious bugaboos that I've encountered with
Sidus (Debian Sid), there is usually a workaround posted within 1-2
days, and the fix is not far behind.

That's the benefits/drawbacks of running a development release. Of
course, in my limited experience with Network Manager, it's still a
POS, and I wish that no one had foisted this work-in-progress on us
until it is ready to run. Back in the days when I was running Ubuntu,
it seemed like one quarter or better of all posts were failings of NM.
