I don't know if IBM has such a thing.  I was worried when Sun took over 
VB, expecting them to charge for it.  They talk about no charge for 
"personal" use or "evaluation" use, which is great.  But I was expecting 
the other shoe to drop one day and that they would say "now there is a 
fee for updates".  I would not mind a fee but price is always an issue.
