Will MySQL die soon ?

HELL no, the I tried using the Berkly stuff and got totally
bummed out. WORST case of DOCS dont' match the code and let's
confuse the user as well.

There is a VBISAM routine that is fair decent and believe it or not,
Mix Software's ISAM is pretty durn good.
