Most of the newer processors (I'm thinking Intel Xeon have
hyperthreading enabled, and it's not an option to disable) that have
been built in the past year have hyperthreading enabled-- if this
machine has new (no more than 18 months old, maybe?) processors in it,
check out the x86info [ http://ln-s.net/2GWt ] program to let you know
if you have hyperthreading enabled.
