Best Chip Set(s) for AMD Phenom?

Curiosity.  If AMD CPU's are inferior, they were good enough to compel 
Intel to market the flaky D2, and to get their act together with the 
Core 2 Duo.  I think AMD's survival is important to keep Intel from 
turning into the hardware equivalent of M$.  I do, however, agree with 
you on their folly in merging ATI video into their design.
