Best Chip Set(s) for AMD Phenom?

Having built a couple of boxes with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU's, I want to
build a system around the AMD Phenom.  (Trying to do my bit to keep AMD
alive.)

What chip set should I look for?  Here are some mobo's I'm considering:

I remember earlier discussions about certain nVidia chip sets that were
problematic with Linux; is that still the case?
