So the repo isn't in the netinst.iso? No wonder I can't find it. I'm
questioning the FC thinking process (or lack thereof).

Well, I queried the developers and they had me try fc10beta. Bottom
line: As of FC10, FC can no longer be installed on systems with less
than about 384Mb RAM (my 256Mb system will not install). The OOM
killer keeps killing critical processes and everything just stops.

I'm glad to see they have considered the chilling effect this will
have on 3d world countries where most of my clients desktop systems
still have only 128Mb of RAM. The text install is deprecated (i.e.,
doesn't even work in FC10) and will be removed RSN.

So much for my foray back into the RPM world. I just would have liked
to have an RPM system for compare/contrast a book I am working on.

Anyone have any recommendations for a mainstream RPM distro not FC?
Perhaps a different one will be a little more accomodating, especially
to those who don't have the computer equivalent of a SUV.

Ciao,
