Of course, Psion pioneered the use of SSD's in handheld devices back in 
the 80s...

I also own the EEE (8Gb Surf) but its too small (disk space I mean) for my 
use case (as a mobile development workstation), so I ended up buying the 
HP Mini-Note. The Mini has a larger, higher res screen, 92% full-size 
keyboard, 120Gb HD and looks nicer than EEE - all for $50 more than the 8G 
EEE. SuSE lasted 5 mins on the Mini before I wiped the drive and put 
Ubuntu on it...


p.s. Anyone wanna buy a brand-new boxed 8G EEE with tweaked Xubuntu 
pre-installed? :-)
