I've always stuck to Dell laptops.  Check out their refurbs.  I've
never been surprised or disappointed.

I also understand that since Michael Dell is now using Linux on his
laptop, even the M$ Bill tax has been removed if you order with Linux
preinstalled (although you may have to call them to get that option).

But since you seem to require a garbage OS, you can still get it.
