I've heard good things about Vector and no negative comments. OTOH, I
don't pay for Linux period.

With only 64M you're not going to get much performance with KDE.
Something like Xfce or IceWM or Fluxbox would be a better fit. You
could even try the Sidux Xfce edition.

Ubuntu has an Xfce edition also.

Or there's always Slackware.
