Vector Linux?

I've an old C0mpaq laptop with a 6 gig hard-drive and 64 megs of memory.
I pur DSL on it, which worked, but was looking for more. Ran into
Vector Linux. More OS than my antique laptop can stand. I tried Fedora
9.xx?, but didn't really live up to old RH 7. That and Caldera have
soft spots in my heart.

So.. I'm just starting to replace my Fedora with the Vector 5.9. If I
like it I may spring for $19.99 to buy VL 5.9.1 SOHO Deluxe Bundle "new"

This includes the basic install CD and the extras CD. The second CD is
700 megabytes of extra software to enhance the SOHO desktop system. This
includes all the locales for KDE, the KDE help system, Koffice,
Inkscape, compiz-fusion and a ton of games. There are server solutions
here too like apache, mysql and php. The rest of the software is from
the Vector Multimedia bonus disk which includes everything one needs to
produce, edit and enjoy anything multimedia related. All the bases are
covered sound, audio and video. For the small additional cost this is a
worthwhile investment. 60 days of installation and configuration support
included.

I've been using Ubuntu for about a year?? Not sure. I'm prolly not as
demanding as the rest of you folks. I'll keep eating and paying park
rent if something goes south. I'll keep you posted.
