I was a pathetic MS Fanboy. My only defense is that it was my job to be one for
quite some time there.
But I had the same experience with eD2.4. It just worked. Far more than the
myriad other distros I had tried. So I finally became a believer in Linux.
It's only shortcoming was that it used KDE 1.x which was stable but utterly
featureless. It was a great day when Marcus (?) provided the binaries for the
new, shiny KDE2.
I think self-respecting toads everywhere would be insulted to be compared to
whatever it is that Caldera has become. Sad when a friend turns into an enemy,
but may perdition rain on them.
