WS 3.1.1 uses a 2.4.x kernel and featured Reiser FS.  So, you could use 
USB devices and don't have to wait for a fsck check after every ten 
boots.  It also installs with LIZARD.  I think much of this list's 
animosity to Caldera/SCO is because this release was so promising.

Actually it is a very nice distro, and will be a good complement to an 
obsolete PC that has USB and a RAM complement of 256-384 MB.
