Don't get me wrong -- I would never advocate its use today.  I just got a
kick out of seeing that it was available.  Can you image the driver hell of
installing it on new hardware?  And what is the current life expectancy of
hardware produced circa 1999, anyway?

My needs were simpler then; and it was a very fun time.
