I have been using it ( GA-X38-DQ6 ) for about a year or so  with FC8. 
Main apps on this system are Netbeans and Oracle Express. I do not 
remember having any problem with the OS or the apps.

Longer and better than which motherboard  ? I overclocked my CPU Q6600 
from 2.4Ghz to 3.6Ghz on this board so I am sure it has better 
performance than other boards :)
