It's a matter of trying to figure out what you really are trying to accomplish 
and the best way to do it.  Most people who ask a 'simple' question like you 
did, really aren't sure what to ask for....   so we try to follow the thought 
process by asking some *pertinent* questions.

Hell, if all you wanted was a list of alternatives, you got that in about the 
first two responses....   why didn't you say "Thank you, that's all I needed" 
and go on about your business.
