url link in thunderbird

If you are running gnome or gtk ish stuff then download the gnome-editor 
and open it and expand desktop ==> gnome ==> url-handlers select 
whichever url you need to edit mailto | http | https and then edit the 
command key to taste.

I am not sure if this would work for the KDE desktop ... But firefox is 
a GTK2 app so the gconf-editor may be the one for all of it.
