Sure, I'll bite! In Nawth Carolanky we have a local phenomenon called
the "Dixie-Crat", which is an Ultra-Conservative closet-KuKluxKlanner,
disguised as a Democrat. They are heir to the Post-Construction "Keep
'Em Down", "Let's Have A Lynching!" and "Yeeee Hawwww!" ethics. These
bastards like to play at Cowboy, but neither they nor their ancestors
had the guts to move west. 

Our present Governor has only commuted (which is merely shortening the
time served) 6 sentences in almost 8 years. He used to be the State
Attorney General, so go figure. We don't execute anyone with less than
an IQ of 68. But we did execute a guy with an IQ of exactly 68. It just
wasn't "less than". So, sure... the D.A. of Fort Worth goes on a
power-trip, without attendant and equal amount of Responsibility, brays
to the public, and potentially large election time donors, that he's got
those boys cold. Dumb ass. Their folks had the toot to call in the Large
Attorneys, who have pummeled him like a "White-Mouth" mule, publicly to
the point of permanent disbarment. 

Yup, he's learned to not screw with well-heeled fraternity white boys in
this state. I just have to wonder how many less well-heeled he's put
away with similar tactics and got away with it. I would hazard a guess
that there is not one person on this list that could afford the
litigation and would find ones self in crowbar hotel looking at 20
years, minimum. 

I will say this about the "Boys"; if they had that kinda scratch to hire
2 strippers for a kegger, a little bit of Dixie-Crat-Youth verbal
ridicule and racial slurs, maybe they would have been better off
spending that lucre to add to the crockpot at the local shelter. Even
smarter would have been to ladle the soup, too. 

I hope that the respective Mommas grabbed their respective kid by the
ear to take him home for a trip to the woodshed, if Dad wouldn't do the
deed and muss up his Club Blue Blazer. <cackles> -and- <boggles> 

I haven't heard about the Shopping Mall thing, but I would guess that
the perp was a similar Authority Figure, and/or the victim was afraid of
being "Ping-Ponged" around the living room back at home. According to
Dixie-Crat-ism, such things are best left alone. I looked for the
article on WRAL's web site but didn't find it, Leon. I'd like to know of
this one!
