Not to mention that we have practically lost the right to Habeas Corpus,
since Bush Sr. "Produce the body". You have only 6 months, according to
the "Patriot Act", to produce a "perfected" writ, once you wind up in
the slammer. Good luck. Now your Attorney can hold you up for your
remaining fortune to proceed and what are you gonna do? Pay. Then pray
he doesn't up his previous bill and demand more, and/or do nothing at
that point but let you rot ... helpless, hopeless and overwhelmed. That
