Say mplayer is working just fine and you don't want an update to screw
things up. Just enter mplayer as excluded and it's static. That will
stop yum or smart from ever touching it or anything that it depends on.
Slick. If you like your kernel and are happy with it, just exclude it.
It'll remain static until you decide to override the exclude. Piece O
