I can su fine, but cannot do all that being logged in as root allows. I
set the install security to 'standard' as I have
done for the past 14-15 years. I have seen many changes over the years
but this one is ridiculous. I'll have to retry
installing Suse 10.2 which crapped out on me initially, once again.
