That was my concern too, but it's not a problem in my environment; I 
think there is an anti-reflection coating.
One deficiency, however, is the brightness control.  It does not adjust 
down enough compared to a CRT.
In an office or room with fairly good lighting, I have to crank the 
brightness down to its minimum for comfort.

Thanks for the tip.  What model is your ViewSonic?  None of the HP's I 
looked at have rotation.
