This depends on several things including DNS for the network, the name of
the workgroup defined in the smb.conf file, what the Windows setting may be
for its workgroup, and possibly network settings if the Windows boxes
aren't on the same subnet as the Linux box.
In the Windows Explore, try Tools->Map Network Drive, then enter
the path \\linuxname\username with the appropriate alternate user
name set in the Windows dialog. If Windows can resolve linuxname
via DNS it should try to mount the user's home directory.
