Oh jebus. Mylex is the red-headed step-child of the disk controller
industry. First LSI bought them, then IBM bought them, then IBM sold them
back to LSI, then LSI killed them off completely. On top of that the late
Leonard Zubkoff was the only person writing/maintaining the Linux Mylex
driver. As far as I can tell, the dac960 kernel module no longer exists
in recent 2.6.x kernels.
