Having used both Oracle and Postgres, but not many others, I would
look at  how much recoding would need to be done to ensure both good
Oracle as well as whatever other database support.  I know the syntax
and feature support (meaning things like outer joins, etc.) both
follow the SQL standard.  While I personally use and prefer Postgres,
your decision must be as pragmatic as possible.
