Lonnie, gonna turn you into a real Californian.  Not too many people,
except we natives, know "sierra"  means "saw teeth", consequently
"sierras is redundant. A lot of great country left that people haven't
trashed too badly.  Try the NE corner, Modoc county & eastern Siskiyou
county.  I think the pop. density is something like a couple of
people/sq. mile?  The back-side of Mt. Shasta is pretty impressive, too.
Out in the Modoc country is where Captain Jack held off the US army for
quite a while.
 Still haven't found where I screwed up my display?
