 From what I have found, Nvidia and AMD seems to be
getting a whole lot of support from the kernel level crowd
these days ...

I have my laptop, marginally working. It has the ICH7,
82801G chipset stuff in it. The 3956ABG Wireless in it,
is another matter (not working).

The latest Intel stuff (ICH8 and the VERY VERY new ICH9)
stuff is still a mystery on drivers and getting them to
work. Makes me wonder if Intel is releasing chipsets JUST
to confuse and daze people...

Well, I guess I am off to test 2.6.18 RC7 on a production
machine ...
