If you thought last year's Ohio LinuxFest was fun, or if you signed up
last year but didn't quite make it, you're definitely not going to want
to miss this year's LinuxFest. This year we have some really big names
in open source coming to Columbus to share their experience with us.

Jeff Waugh, Chris DiBona, Jorge Castro, Michael Johnson, Jay Pipes,
and Jon 'maddog' Hall are just a few of the speakers that will be
on-hand to talk about Linux and open source. We have a full day of
exciting, community oriented, presentations on tap for everyone who's
interested in learning more about Linux and open source.

As a special treat, we'll also have a special appearance this year
-- live penguins from the Columbus Zoo! If you think Tux is cute,
wait until you get an eyefull of real, live penguins.

Of course, all work and no play makes for dull geeks. After a full
day of great talks, there's no better way to unwind than a full-blown
afterparty. We'll have food and drinks from 8 p.m. to midnight,
so you can relax and get to know other open sourcers in an informal
atmosphere.

The Ohio LinuxFest is taking place on Saturday, September 30,
at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus Ohio. The
deadline for registration is September 22, so be sure to sign up for
the LinuxFest today! Registration is free, and you can sign up at
http://www.ohiolinux.org/attend.html in just a few minutes.

You can also help us spread the word by linking to the Ohio LinuxFest
Web site at http://www.ohiolinux.org/, and putting up one of our banners
-- which can be found at http://www.ohiolinux.org/banners.html. Tell your
friends, co-workers, fellow LUG members, and anyone else that might
be interested in learning more about Linux and open source.

We're committed to making this the best LinuxFest to date, and we
hope you and your friends will be there to join us!

See you in Columbus!
