Back when we had Locksmith. Locksmith would use parameters that everyone
uncovered through trial and error and contributed to their BBS, to copy
all of the copy protected disks... being as it was not illegal to have a
backup copy of a protected disk that you own. If they can encrypt, it
can be unencrypted. The players can handle just a bit of jiggling but
not a lot with regards to playback of encrypted disks. 

As much as I am glad to have the mp3 codecs, I still feel like I am
selling out. Ogg works just fine, and I know I should be using it. But,
my $49 MP3 player from Radio Shack will only play MP3's and not Ogg. So,
I'm selling out, but I don't feel good about it.
