As a general rule, no.  At least with Mailman, it handles the vast majority
of bounces, automatically suspending delivery to addresses that bounce
above some threshhold.  It periodially sends reports of bounces it doesn't
know how to handle to the list administrator for manual handling.  One of
my pet peeves is AOL users who reject mail from certain senders resulting
in bounces saying they're rejecting mail from that sender (particularly
when they're rejecting on my e-mail address :-).
