OK, I'll amend that:  only spammers and incredibly discourteous or
clueless lusers send html e-mails.

And BTW, spamassassin adds points for HTML e-mails.  Most of my mail
servers run mime-defang and strip off html.  You'd be surprised how
many empty messages I receive from folks who obviously have nothing to
say.
