Linux computers as a commodity

Two interestding notes:

1.  The latest adverts in the mail from MicroCenter offer two
cheap-ass computers (Celeron, not much memory, but a DVD Writer!) with
Linspire pre-installed.

2. Don't know where this one will go, but Slashdot has an article that
Walmart is going to open up in-store DIY computer centers.
