Interesting read. The security industry certainly has a vested interest
in maintaining a constant state of hysteria.

On the other hand, I just got my letter from the VA today informing me
that my personally identifiable data was among the 26.5 million that got
stolen with an employee's laptop. Of course, in this case, the latest
spyware/anti-virus/malware update wouldn't have mattered.
