Yes I can see how that would be a very handy thing to have.

I think i install OpenBSD at one point and found that just the device
names changing threw me a little. The other thing was that I'm a bleeding
edge sort of guy and the BSD's seem to be a little behind as far as what
is immediately available.

If I had time I would probably spend all my free hours delving into all
sorts of stuff. But marriage has caused me to re-evaluate my time
allocation.
