One great thing about Ubuntu 5.10 is that it has ppp_mppe (for M$ VPN) 
built-in. You don't need to deal with dkms and kernel_ppp_mppe as in 
Fedora Core 4. Anyway, 2.6.15 has ppp_mppe included.
