*buntu news

Interesting to read all the comments. I don't have a dog in this hunt,
but I found it to be an interesting comment. I had always thought
that Fedora was number 1 in downloads, and I had no idea that there
were that many OpenSUSE users. I know that many of you have no use for
*buntu, but everyone I've encountered locally has loved it, most
usually the Kubuntu variant. Not too many GnomeHeads around here.

There's absolutely no reason for those of you who hate *buntu to try
it. Linux is all about choice. The one really good thing about it
(IMHO) is that the download sites almost always work (a little slow
after a release). I've never had good results downloading Fedora or
OpenSUSE.

The only problem I have with *buntu (I'm sure Lonni will agree) is the
extreme isolation of the developers from the user community.

I've just downloaded Zenwalk4.0 to give a min-distro a shot.
