Final update for now.

Other than the few little wrinkies I mentioned, Feisty is quite stable
for now. Everything I need works, anyway. I'm running this as my
primary system until such time as it breaks. That's always a
possibility with a devel release.

Even mplayer with codecs under firefox works like a champ for movie
trailers. I'll be experimenting with some php/database stuff as time
permits.

For now, I'm running xfce. The kde4 stuff looked just like the 3.x
stuff. if a little bit slower. Gnome started ok, but I'm not
interested in going down that road.

Will let you know if there is "breaking" news.
